Labeling of Irradiated Foods

1.經輻射照射食品，應標示此標章。

Foods that are treated with radiation shall bear the symbol for radiation on their

outer packaging obviously.

2.輻射應符合「食品輻射照射處理標準」規定。凡未列該標準「限用照射食品品目」之食品，不得以輻射照射處理，否則即違反食品安全衛生管理法第17條規定。

3.經輻射照射處理後，與其他原料僅進行簡單混合，仍應標示輻射照射處理標章或「原料經輻射照射處理」等字樣。如經輻射照射處理之食品原料，僅為產品原料之一部分，經加工製成產品，得免標示輻射照射處理標章或「原料經輻射照射處理」等字樣。

After radiation irradiation treatment, it is only simply mixed with other raw materials, and it should still be marked with the radiation irradiation treatment mark or the words "raw material has been subjected to radiation irradiation treatment". If the food raw materials treated by radiation irradiation are only a part of the raw materials of the product, and are processed into products, they may not be marked with the radiation irradiation treatment mark or the words "raw materials are subjected to radiation irradiation treatment".
